Gorey IT Solutions was established in September 2022 with one goal in mind – to give businesses and residents across Gorey and North Wexford access to reliable, local IT support they can actually count on.

About Me

I’m Patrick, the person behind Gorey IT Solutions. I’ve been working in IT since 2014 and have spent that time building up a solid grounding in networking, systems design, cybersecurity, and IT support. What I enjoy most about the work is the problem-solving side of it – getting systems running properly, putting the right policies and protections in place, and making sure everything works the way it should.

One thing I’ve always valued is being able to explain technical things in plain language. IT can feel overwhelming if you’re not immersed in it every day, and part of my job is making sure you understand what’s happening with your systems and why – without the jargon.

Why Local Matters

There’s no shortage of IT support companies out there, but most of them are based nowhere near you. When you need IT support in Gorey, you want someone local who can actually show up. When something goes wrong, you’re on hold, waiting for a callback, or dealing with someone who has never set foot in Gorey.

That’s not how I work. I’m based in Gorey, I serve Gorey and North Wexford, and when you need someone on-site, I’m only a few minutes away. I know the area, I know the businesses here, and I’m genuinely invested in seeing Gorey and the surrounding community do well. That’s not a marketing line – it’s why I started this business.

Community First

Being local isn’t just about response times. I’m actively involved in the Gorey community and committed to supporting local businesses, groups, and organisations wherever I can. I’m a member of the Gorey Business Network and the Gorey Rotary Club, two organisations that are doing great work for the town and the surrounding area. When local businesses are strong, the whole community benefits – and that’s something I want to be part of.

Gorey IT Solutions is a one-person operation, which means when you deal with me, you’re always dealing with the same person. No call centres, no being passed around, no explaining your problem three times to three different people.
